Oneplus 3/3T gets Android 7.1.1 via Oxygen OS 4.1.0

Good news for all Oneplus fans as Oneplus started rolling out the new update for the Oneplus 3/3T i.e. Android 7.1.1 (Oxygen OS 4..1.0).

The new update brings many changes. Here are some of the changes that are being made-

Upgraded Android 7.1.1
Updated Google security patch to 1st March 2017
Added expanded screenshots
Improved picture taking of moving objects with blur reduction
Improved video stability when recording
Improved WiFi connectivity
Improved bluetooth connectivity
General bug fixes

For now only a small number of customers will get the update, as the roll-out is batch wise. So you won't be getting the update straight away. Users might have to wait for some to get the update.

WhatsApp Beta Update with Gboard support

WhatsApp with its latest beta update, version 2.17.110 allows users to send GIF's using Google's Gboard keyboard. WhatsApp have their own GIF interface, but Google's GIF keyboard was previously kept out of it. But now users can use Gboard to use,search for or insert GIFs without going to the regular WhatsApp GIF interface. For now the support of Gboard is only available in the beta version of WhatsApp, but if you want to use it now you can sign up for the WhatsApp beta program . Today we will give you a quick walk through on how to get Android 7.1.1 on your OnePlus 3/3T. As you all know that Oneplus is rolling out the update batch wise so nobody is sure when they will get the update but with this guide you will get it instantly. The update is roughly 350 MB so make sure you are connected to a WiFi. Also make sure you have at least 70% battery available. To get the update firstly you have download any VPN app on your phone. For example we downloaded the Opera Max VPN. Now follow the steps mentioned. 1. Essential Phone Beta 3 (Oreo Build) available for download

Essential announced the third build of its Oreo beta for their Essential Phone. The update is not the final build.Almost a month back Essential released the second beta. The update includes some minor bug fixes and security updates. The update can be downloaded from the website of Essential and some devices with the second beta are getting the update via OTA.
