Asus Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Max launched

Hello friends we are back and so is Asus with 2 new variants of the Zenfone 3 model. This announcement was made on a special event in Vietnam. Both Zenphones will run on Android Marshmallow with Asus' own Zen UI. Coming to Zenfone 3 laser the main feature of this phone is its camera.It boasts an ultra fast 0.03s autofocus, 13 MP pixelmaster 3.0 camera with the Sony IMX 214 sensor. It comes with a metal body. Quick features:

  • 5.5 inch 1080p display with 2.5D glass
  • Octa core processor
  • 4 GB RAM
  • 32 GB internal storage
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • 13 MP laser autofocus, dual LED rear camera, 5MP front camera
  • MicroSD expandable upto 256 GB
  • Corning Gorilla glass 4

 Unfortunately there is no official word on the battery capacity or the chipset used. Price is expected to be around Rs. 18,000.
The  Zenfone 3 Max is a newer version of the Zenfone Max. Surprisingly it comes with lesser juice with 4100 mAh battery, than the Zenfone Max which has 5000 mAh battery.  Although, on the hardware front it has received some upgrades. Like the other Zenfone 3 variant it comes with a metal body, 3 GB of RAM and a fingerprint sensor. Quick features:
  • 5.2 inches 720p display
  • Snapdragon 615 octa core processor
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 32 GB internal storage
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • 13 MP laser autofocus, 5MP front camera
  • MicroSD support
  • Corning Gorilla glass 4.
Expect the price to be around Rs. 13,500.
Hopefully Asus will release full details of these two phones soon along with the release date in India.

Android 6.0 to be named Marshmallow.

Google just revealed the name of Android 6.0, the latest version of Android will be named marshmallow. With the release of name google has also released the Android 6.0 SDK and the final preview of the latest addition which can be loaded to nexus devices. Reports also say that Google may be working on two new nexus devices this time which will be used to showcase the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow, one from Huawei and a new updated  Nexus 5 from LG. Both the phones might have built in fingerprint scanners. Motorola rolling out Nougat Update to Moto X Style

Motorola has reportedly posted an update for the users of Moto X Style (Moto X Pure Edition in the US). The update doesn't list anything new or specific,but users can have a good summary of all the major features that are included with Nougat. Which includes new features like multi window support for apps,improved settings app, and few optimizations to the doze mode. The update is likely to be of large size. So users are recommended to use WiFi connection. However the update may take time reach the users around the world so if you own a Moto X Style, you may have to wait for a few days.
